BPB has announced that it has recently distributed 65 pulse oximeters to the Primary Family Medicine Centre in Kosovo. These devices will be distributed to family medicine centres throughout Kosovo. The donation to the QKMF was made to assist doctors in their fight against the pandemic and as a token of appreciation for the tireless contribution of medical staff during this difficult time for us all.

These medical devices are used to measure oxygen levels and the current heart rate, which are important indicators for the early identification of symptoms in patients affected by this virus.

We have endeavoured, through this donation, to make the work of the medical staff directly involved with those affected by this pandemic, even if only a little, easier. We believe that these devices will contribute to the early detection of the virus among our compatriots, and as a result, they will be able to overcome this illness more easily. This is our third project to help prevent and combat the COVID-19 pandemic, as BPB previously carried out two similar projects, distributing 500 disinfectants to small businesses across Kosovo and disinfecting the premises of 50 Kosovo-based businesses. – said Anita Kosumi-Ajeti, Head of the Human Resources Department at BPB
